Louisiana Governor Jindal steps out of the fire and into the frying pan—first facing the legislators and then vetoing what many in the New Orleans region consider to be an important project. Then, things can be worse. We could be in the Middle East where carnage continues. Or we could be in the Presidential election campaign—where carnage continues. Or we can be the courts, where carnage continues.

Obviously, there is no peace in the Middle East, just pieces of bodies.
