Alcoholism is a life-long disease and falling off the wagon numerous times is always a risk. However, as long as you continue to find the inner strength to pick yourself back up again, recovery isn't far away. That is why, although David Hasselhoff slipped, which was confirmed by his publicist, he also stated that Hasselhoff has chosen to be hospitalized and is "doing fine and will be back home" this morning. After winning back the custody of his children, a mediation hearing is scheduled for Thursday.

Speaking of battling alcoholism, Kiefer Sutherland has agreed to a 48-day jail sentence after pleading no contest to driving with a blood-alcohol level higher than 0.08 percent. His formal sentencing will take place on December 21st.

Sean "Diddy" Combs is facing yet another suit, this go around from James Waldon (27), who states that the hip-hopper directed three of his bodyguards to rough him up at a New York nightclub for no reason. One of the guys, according to Waldon, punched him in the face while the other two started hitting and kicking him.

Ordering Britney Spears to be formally booked on a hit-and-run charge stemming from her August fender bender was a Los Angeles judge, who scheduled her next court date in the case on October 25th. According to TMZ.com, Spears' attorney told them that the singer is trying to work out a deal with the woman whose car she hit, but in the meantime, she will comply with the court's order.

And Spears' attorney also reported that she "passed her random drug tests."

"There's been more than one. They came up negative," stated attorney Sorrell Trope.

Finally, Justin Timberlake, Beyonce, Daughtry, and Linkin Park are all leading the nominations for the 2007 American Music Awards with three nods apiece. Handing out the awards on November 18th, the ceremony will be broadcast live on ABC. Fans are encouraged to go online and place their votes at ama.abc.com.

Happy Wednesday! Thank you so much for reading
