The survey also found that 18 percent its association members listed “excessive debt held by households and businesses” as the top problem.

Do y'all think there's any connection between the assassination of Gov. Eliot Spitzer and the fact that he had denounced the Bush regime in a Washinton Post article for its support of subprime lenders? The extraordinarily blunt article appeared in the February 18 edition, and Spitzer was exposed viciously by the media only a couple of weeks later, following FBI tips. For me, his situation is quite different from Vitter's. Vitter had condemned Livingston and Clinton for doing the same thing he was doing, and that's hypocrisy. Spitzer had condemned financial dealings which were in fact hurting the lower and middle classes and the economy in general, and that's public service.... Anyway, why haven't the media reported on Jeff Gannon's many visits to the White House? They're in the Secret Service records, and Gannon is a known prostitute as well. He even had a website advertising his services. There are a couple of interesting photos of him and Bush together in a 'Monica moment'. Ah me, we believe what the media tell us without thinking. The world is so much easier that way. Pass me another blue pill, Morpheus! Written by Robert Desmarais Sullivan
