On Tuesday, October 14 from 1-5 p.m., the fourth meeting of the Medicaid Advisory Group Meeting will take place in the hearing room of the PoydrasBuilding.
Department of Health and Hospitals Secretary Alan Levine established this committee to help provide technical expertise and advice to the Department in its implementation of the Louisiana Health First Initiative to improve health care outcomes in Louisiana.

In celebration of American Pharmacist Month, Winn-Dixie Stores, Inc.(NASDAQ:WINN), has rolled out a month-long program offering customers flu and pneumonia vaccinations. Customers using their Winn-Dixie Customer Reward Card will pay $28 for the flu vaccine ($30 for non-cardholders) and $38 for the pneumonia vaccine ($45 for non-cardholders). The grocer is also offering free cholesterol and diabetes screenings at its more than 400 in-store pharmacies.
