The affected workers will have a choice of attending an 8:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m. or a 2:30 p.m. session on Thursday, April 17, or at the same times on Friday, April 18, at the Baton Rouge call center at 7850 Anselmo Lane.
An employee transition center will be open at the facility from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, April 22 through Friday, April 25, and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Tuesday, April 29, through Friday, May 2.The center will assist the
workers with job searches, skills assessments, training information and résumé preparation.

“Many of these employees possess marketable skills, and through our re-employment initiatives will be able to find new jobs,” said Greg A.
Anders, state Rapid Response coordinator.“We offer educational and training programs, including tuition assistance to employees who want to upgrade their current skills or begin a new career path.”
