The opening represents the latest addition to the brand’s growing portfolio of more than 400 Hilton Garden Inn locations across North America and Europe.
The Hilton Garden Inn Shreveport is operated by Akshar 6, LLC, under a license agreement with a subsidiary of Hilton Hotels Corporation.
Stennis Space Station
Years of hard work, funding from the state of Mississippi and NASA, and donations from patrons across the country will begin to show visible results on Thursday, November 20, 2008, at 10:30 a.m., when the highly-anticipated, state-of-the-art, $38 million INFINITY® at NASA Stennis Space Center breaks ground with a celebratory event hosted by the non-profit, INFINITY Science Center, Inc. The INFINITY® ScienceCenter project has attained an important milestone. The $28 million, 72,000 square foot building is underway with the award of a $4.8 million infrastructure development contract. This event will serve as the official ceremony marking the beginning of construction of this important asset for inspiring the next generation of scientists
and engineers, building science literacy among the public and serving as a stimulus for economic development in Mississippi and Louisiana.
