Who should be the Louisiana Woman Of The Year?  Who will be the Louisiana “Woman of the Year”/  Bayoubuzz wants to know from you.  Send to steve@bayoubuzz.com the name and reason that this special female has made a major difference locally or statewide.  There are so many wonderful women who have made you, their respective community or the state our pride and joy.  So, Boy, Bayoubuzz wants to honor them.

We will receive and publish all names and biographical information and the reasons they should be considered the top woman.  The last date for us to receive your recommendations will be June 6.  The recipient will receive a special video story by Bayoubuzz.  After we receive your recommendations, you will vote for the top women and we will announce the winner and the runner-ups.

Please consider those women who have made a difference in your personal lives, in the communities, or for the state.  We’re looking for doctors, nurses, accountants, homemakers, nuns, elected officials, writers, teachers—you name them, we will post them and you can vote.

Later during the year, Bayoubuzz will hold a banquet for the “Louisiana Woman of The Year” for the special women whom you have casted as the Louisiana best.  So, start now and send us the names and the reasons for the nominations.  Please keep your reasons to no more than one hundred words.  All senders of recommendations will be confidential so you can even recommend anyone, even your own self.  We greatly value you, the women in Louisiana and this is the way we can hope to make a difference.

Dayammmm, I just realized I am going to be stuck in Louisiana for Memorial Day weekend...... Now if some gal were to come along with a six pack of beer and take me for a long ride, like to Padre Island or something like that,,,, I would probably nominate her....
