Homelessness Increasing

HUD is issuing its annual report today and it appears that more rural and suburbians are becoming homeless.  U.S. Housing and Urban Development Secretary Shaun Donovan will host a conference call to unveil HUD's latest Annual Homeless Assessment Report. Secretary Donovan will also make a major funding announcement to help state and local communities prevent homelessness.  Recently, Governor Bobby Jindal vetoed legislation to fund a centralized means of providing centralized services for homelessness.
