Attorney General, Charles Foti, is not giving up even after a New Orleans Grand Jury has returned a “no true bill” against Dr. Anna Pou who was arrested in the MemorialHospital post-Katrina case.
Louisiana Attorney General Foti has asked a state judge Calvin Johnson to release previously sealed documents that had been used in the investigation of the deaths at MemorialMedicalCenter that occurred days after the hurricane struck causing electricity to go out in a hospital that was suffocating with heat. Judge Johnson set a hearing for August 6 on Foti's request.
Attorney General Foti is expected to run for re-election despite the controversy that has caught the community in a storm of anger on both sides of the issue.
Dr. Pou told Sixty Minutes months ago that she did not believe in euthanasia. However, there are no definitive facts how the patients died and what were the motivations of Dr. Pou and her associates at the hospital.
Civil lawsuits have been filed in connection with the case.
This proves it is all about re-election and nothing else.

I say let this whole story go..... Fotibaloney. I am about to puke from the insipid saturated fat gossiped about on this rag of a 'buzzzzzzzzzzz' site. Why doesn't it get to something with real MEAT in it. Something Strongconcrete and something that is viable, necessary, and good instead of blah, blah, blah about jackasses and phony pursuits that we all already know about.
