Where they're from: Buyers from 40 states bought tickets to Monday night's game. The top five: Louisiana, 37 per cent; Ohio, 13; Texas, 12; Florida, 5; and Georgia, 4.
Average ticket prices for other BCS games this season: Rose Bowl, $309; Sugar Bowl, $239; Fiesta Bowl, $161; Orange Bowl, $138.
