Another incredible Louisiana and New Orleans area comedy, news and political Punch to the gut—but at the magnificent Roosevelt Hotel “Blue Room” at 123 Baronne St. in New Orleans.
“Politics With A Punch” lampoons, blasts and criticizes, the news and newsmakers of the day. It’s funnier than laughing gas”.This month, Punch will be Thursday November 19 from 6 to 10pm with the show starting at 8pm.
"Punch" is held monthly on stage before a live audience. It is a local version of “Politically Incorrect.” It is a fast-paced, free-wheeling, no-holds barred discussion of what is happening in our city, state and nation.
In seven years of existence, Punch has featured some of the top political, business, comedic, media and entertainment talent in Louisiana.
Newly renovated, the rebirth of the BLUE ROOM is part of a $187 million renovation of the Roosevelt Hotel, now part of the upscale Waldorf-Astoria portfolio.
The legendary BLUE ROOM will be a historic setting for our show. This one of a kind venue has featured celebrities such as Louis Armstrong, Ray Charles, Frank Sinatra and Jimmy Durante. Dressed in deep blues and rich gold, this storied space will once again welcome special performances as the new home of Politics with a Punch.

I'm glad to see y'all moved - the Cricket club was nice but PwaP had it overflowing - good seat were hard to come by - hell, seats were hard to come by. I hope all goes well with the new venue. Me, I still like my Zydeco at R&B on Thursdays (heaven on earth for the "geriatric mosh-pit" crowd); maybe if you get Chris Rose on the panel I'm skip the dancing and get to see the Blue Room as well. HEY! If Chris Rose gets fired you can put him on as a permanent guest. Written by kpf, sounds like a plan.....
