Are you ready for some real New Orleans and Louisiana music?

Theresa Andersson, Sheryl Crow, Ellis Marsallis, Kim Carson will be playing at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival Friday along with a host of dozens of other acts.

The Jazz Fest will be the third since Hurricane Katrina and although the weather might play a factor in the attendance, it is hard not to have the time of your life at the “Louisiana Stage”, the “Blues Stage” the Acura Stage and the many venues.

Friday, the first day of Jazz Festival is normally a tad less crowded than the other weekend events, but, many believe it to be the best day because of the “smaller crowds” compared to the Saturdays and Sundays.

So, put on your sunscreen, your hat, and take in the best that New Orleans and Louisiana has to offer.  Did I forget to say, attend often?
