New Orleans Hosts Blacks In Government Katrina Town Hall Meeting

The 2008 hurricane season is underway. and accordingly, there will be an event called "Blacks In Government Katrina Town Hall Meeting" which is designed to help struggling Katrina survivors to get back on their feet. 

The event will be held at the Hilton Riverside Hotel, Jefferson Ballroom 3rd level in New Orleans on Tuesday, August 12, 2008, 7:30 p.m.


Dr. Calvin Mackie, award winning mentor will focus on issues that still face many of Katrina andRita survivors after three years. The featured panelists are: Councilwoman Cynthia Willard-Lewis, Avis Gray, Melanie Campbell and Joe Fuller. The moderator is Gary Fowler.
