New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival Seeks Sunnier Skies

 All hopes are that the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival will be a lot dryer than Saturday as major performers face the crowd and hit the stands.  Leading the field are the likes of Tim McGraw, Irma Thomas, Gal Holiday, Rockin Doopsie, Allen Toussaint, Jeremy Davenport and dozens more.

 

The Saturday performances were drenched due to the solid downpour of rain.  However, despite the rain, one of the most interesting events occurred as cultural economy and performers discussed the city and state post-Katrina.   New Orleans Jazz Fest Brings Talk of Louisiana Culture and Business .  

 

Still, with the food, the music, the heritage—young and old are likely able to have a great time in the Big Easy’s signature spring cultural event.  Despite the rain on

 

The Jazz Fest ends on May 4.  You will not want to miss Sunday's lineup dripping with talent.
