What does New Orleans mean to Soledad O’Brien of CNN, the reporter and anchorperson (who discussed with Stephen Sabludowsky, the Publisher of Bayoubuzz.com) the post-Katrina city undergoing a major rebuild. The scene of the interview was on Convention Center Blvd. right outside the MorialConvention Center where thousands two years ago had no food or water for days.
In an exclusive interview with O’Brien by Bayoubuzz, O’Brien said that when people ask her about what New Orleans means to her, it is about her passion for “justice and fairness” for Americans.O’Brien had covered the New Orleans and Katrina experience during the hurricane and right after its aftermath of 2005.Soledad said “we pay taxes and we have a government that is supposed to protect you” and that it failed on many levels.
O’Brien also discussed whether America has forgotten about New Orleans after Katrina. She said that America wants to help. The anchorperson said that New Orleans could be like any other City after disaster.
O’Brien also said that despite all of the obstacles, the New Orleans citizens who are facing insurance, flooding, rebuilding issues—despite it all, it is the American spirit that survives.
It seems that there is a general effort from all sides now to make a big effort and ensure that action is taken, and that Katrina was not about the Hurricane, but about "humanity" Thanks for the vids bud.

Soladad brilliant, at least she has come here and is feeling the heart of the issues and not a drive by visit like so many other reporters.
