Report: New Orleans Buying Chevron Building For New City Hall

 According to various reports, New Orleans is buying from Chevron Corp. its former New Orleans operations center.  The purpose would be to convert for a new City Hall.  During his state of the city address, Mayor Nagin said that the city had signed a “firm letter of intent”.

On the other hand Nagin was right about this - I thought he had simply put his foot in his mouth again when he first spoke of it. Not that that changes my opinion of him any. But .. just to 'give the Devil his due' so to speak.
