WASHINGTON — The Washington Wizards took the wind out of the New Orleans Hornets by beating them101-84 on Sunday. The loss for the Hornets came as they beat the Utah Jazz on Friday.

Due to the victory, the Wizards are only one game below .500. The loss for the Hornets dropped their record to 39-19.

Antawn Jamison scored 28 points and nine rebounds for the Wizards while the red-hoting scoring Hornets were led by Peja Stojakovic with 17 points and Chris Paul with 16 points.
