Will New Orleans Mayor run for Governor?

This morning Mayor Nagin announced on a WWL TV in an interview that people would have to wait until 5’oclock today regarding his possible running for Governor.  Nagin would not admit or deny whether he was going to run for the position.  He said this was an issue created by the media that they were having great fun with the issue and that he was having great fun with the discussion of the issue, also.  Nagin said that the discussion over the issue of his running for Governor was good for the city.

When a caller told him that he was doing a great job cleaning up the city and helping with the recovery, and if he would do the same in the future for the state, Mayor Nagin said that he said that this would be one of the discussions he would consider.  When another caller told him that to stay in the city to help with the recovery, he said that due to the recent situation with Oliver Thomas, that would be a factor in his decision to keep continuity.  However, at the end of the interview, he alluded that the money emanated from the state and that the people would know his decision at the end of the day.

Nagin should apply for the position of Iraqi Prime Minister to take Al Maliki's place, since they are on vacation for a month or two while American soldiers are shedding their blood(8 more dead soldiers yesterday). That way, next Dubuya flies over to Iraq for a gratitous photo-opt, he could hug Nagin the way he did when he came here for the usual dog and pony show, and say "you're doin' a heckuva job, Naggie baby." Give it up Ray---you couldn't find your rear end with a set of deer horns!

If he runs for governor, does that mean this showboating moron will have to resign as Mayor? We'll finally be rid of him and when he gets buried in the gubernatorial race, he'll be gone forever. That day should be declared a holiday.

Nagin, has his eyes set on a job with the rainbow coalition. He will make a great crowd gather, as he claims the white man, caused the downfall of the poor blacks in New Orleans. He is going to be played, as the man who fought for his people and tried to bring back his chocolate city.
