KPF!!!!!!!!! WHAT ABOUT THE SHRIMP AND PETROLEUM FESTIVAL IN MORGAN CITY!!!!!!!!!!! Wayne Toups is rumored to make an appearance…… And as for Pakistan? It is all in relationship to Afghanistan…… The tricky part is keeping the Chinese and the Indians out of the fracas… I would think a couple of conventional first strike bunker busters or perhaps a selection of Daisy Cutters should do the trick………. Then call the area a disaster area and move the inhabitants out……. No need to send any troops in…. I wonder what our foreign policy towards Pakistan is…… Religion shouldn’t be an issue with either the Russians (professed atheists) or the Chinese (position of state monitored religious activities if religious beliefs or customs are allowed to be practiced)… That one is in the bag…. No problem…

I'm far more worried about the collapse of the government which replaced Musharraf in Pakistan then hurricanes or increased taxes from a (as yet unelected) leftist Democratic President. Pakistan has nukes, these could fall into the Taliban's hands. Life could become far more "interesting" than it presently is. Me Cher, I'm worried about how dat Gustav ting gonna effect da Zydeco festivals dis weekend in St. Martinville and Opelousas. Dat's my concern yeah (Then again, I have destroyed many, many brain cells in my mis-spent yute).

Either way we lose. We either get crushed by a hurricane or embarassed on national TV about how good Louisiana is since he took office. If I was a Republican I would rather take on the storm. The rethoric he's going to spew will hurt the party and ensure an Obama victory thus the beginning of the end. I know that's pretty heavy!!!

The passing of Fay, and the emergence of Gustav does present interesting paradigms…… I watched a group of public servants sitting around a Sunday discussion board round lamenting about probability ratios….. One person glibly said “Katrina was what, 3 years ago? And a large hurricane event comes around once every 10 or 11 years in Louisiana? I think we are relatively safe until 2011, 2012 before another one comes around. We should have plenty of time.” So there you have it folks…. Some moron, that has a slot on a hurricane protection planning board for the citizens of the State of Louisiana gambling with your life…….. I would have probably enjoyed pizzing in his face for the giggles involved in doing such a thing…….. In much the same fashion as he is pizzing in citizens faces while telling them that he has a pat hand and is willing to bet their lives that it isn’t necessary to move as fast as possible, let alone any faster on hurricane protection/wetlands restoration……. Oh sure, his sphincter is sort of drawn up right now wondering if Gustav is coming, but the reality of it is, he doesn’t care, probably lives up north in Baton Rouge or something like that, and has plenty of money to rent a Holiday Inn suite in Chattanooga if Gustav does decide to come to town…. So there you have it folks…. He probably has some kind of degree in forecasting, so that makes his lines law I suppose……

Nahhhhh, Louisiana isn't going to get hit by Gustav.....it starts with a G, not an O through a Z...... But I can predict one thing for certain, if it increases in strenght, and it probably will, it is going to be a sad day for whoever gets hit by it.........
