Southern Media Research has issued a very interesting poll involving the major Louisiana elecgted officials:

Major points:

Mary Landrieu’s (from the spring job performance has gone from 60 percent positive to a negative 50% (December 2009).  Half of those likely voters are giving US Senator Mary Landrieu a negative

According to Bernie Pinsonat, “In early March, Landrieu was very popular.  Now, she is viewed as negative.  That is a huge move”.

Governor Bobby Jindal’s popularity has been stable from approximately 63 to 67 percent during the period.

David Vitter had a 58 percent popularity in March 2009 and is December has a approximate 54%.

Charlie Melancon has fallen from approximately 35 to 32 percent from October to December.

Jay Dardenne dropped slightly from 52 percent to 49 percent.    According to Pinsonat, Dardenne is virtually unknown.

“it is obvious that the person who has taken the “biggest hit”  on popularity is Senator Landrieu.  Since the health care vote, she went down approximately ten points and her negatives shot up from 42 percent to approximately 50% since October.”

Pinsonat believes the public is blaming her for the health care vote in a matter of sixty days.  “This is   very unusual”.  Pinsonat believes her putting the Medicaid amendment on the bill did not help her at all.

You need to do a search on Maurice Edwin Landrieu and his offspring to help catch up on the nicknames.

In democracy it's your vote that counts. In feudalism it's your Count that votes.

I think Mary is leaning towards one of those cushy jobs like Tauzin has. I doubt she is losing any sleep over these poll numbers. In fact, she is probably getting a kick out of irritating the wingnuts. I would think that the Diaper rep would be in better shape after filing 47 pieces of wingnut friendly legislation. Perhaps they found out that most of the bills were the same that Bush through in the garbage can several years ago. We sure have a dynamic pair looking out for us.

Let's hope they keep dropping and maybe half-moon can give her a city job once she's unemployed. Tiger's beotches are better looking, but Mary and the rest who are blowing Obama are doing much more damage.
