This Saturday, Louisiana US Senate candidate, John Kennedy discussed with Bayoubuzz the main issues in his race for US Senator—Congress, Mary Landrieu (his opponent) and earmarks.
Kennedy, the current Louisiana treasurer qualified for office last week.

On a related matter, Friends of Mary Landrieu, the campaign committee for United States Senator Mary L. Landrieu, D-La., today released the final fundraising totals for the second quarter of 2008. According to her campaign, Sen. Landrieu outraised all opponents while setting a record for single-quarter fundraising for a Senator seeking re-election. She says she has more than twice as much cash on hand as all of her opponents.
