National Publication Features Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal

Written by: BayouBuzz Staff

Buzz Right Back----E-Mail a Friend----Print Page

This week, Bobby Jindal was featured prominently again by Rush Limbaugh.  Now, a national publication, DETAILS has published an inside look at Jindal who many believe is positioning himself for the national stage, if not the Vice President position. Below is a promo of the article on the current Louisiana Governor from DETAILS.  For more information on this story, go to http://www.nbc33tv.com/ to watch the web broadcast after their live nightly news newscast of their story on this subject.  NBC33 covers the Baton Rouge area.

Here is the article by DETAIL and below is their own preview of the Bobby Jindal article.
http://men.style.com/details/blogs/thegadabout/2008/06/the-making-of-b.html

The August issue of DETAILS magazine features Louisiana governor and
possible McCain VP Bobby Jindal.  Who exactly is this man? An exorcist?  A
young, ambitious future leader of the Republican party?  A non-white who has
been able to overcome racial barriers (one self-proclaimed ‘racist’ voter
said he voted for Jindal despite him being an “African-American”)?

DETAILS takes an in-depth look at Piyush Jindal, better known as Bobby, and
one of the leading candidates to gain McCain’s VP nod, examining his rise to
office, his young ambitions, his experience with exorcism, his conversion to
Catholicism, conflict with his parents, meeting Obama (and teaming up for
campaign commercials?!) and more
.

WantaBeFree says, "In the meantime if Bobby really wants to be VP he should start getting cozy with Obama."..............LOL!....... Rhett'sWife mentioned another interesting point- what if Jindal is the VP selection and McCain LOSES... then what for Bobby and Louisiana?

The Jindal administration has been running this PR campaign. That's why Jindal has blocked disclosure of his records and why his campaign manager is chief of staff.

Wannabee, I disagree. I think the only thing he showed during the campaign is his deception and lack of willingness to be brave to debate his opponents. There is now evidence that he did not even know what was on his campaign materials such as the "no pay raises for legislators". And his new found courage would be easy for him to do since he thinks the public is behind him on the issue. When he tackles the hard issues, he lies. Roemer, move over. We have another Guv nobody can believe.

When was the last time we had a political official garner such national interest? About a decade ago. I think his sentence will be completed in the next year or two. In the meantime if Bobby really wants to be VP he should start getting cozy with Obama. But what he really ought to do is announce he is not a candidate and get back to trying to run this state. The populace didn't vote for him to be VP. After a real rocky start (and the jury is still out) he is starting to show some of the characterisatics promised while campaigning.

Yea, makes us proud. give us a break. Don't you remember he was forced to veto the legislative pay raise. Why did he do it? Because he was getting bad national press, right? I am willing to make a projection. If McCain wins, this man will be Governor of Louisiana for a few months after the elections and then off to Washington he goes with the rest of the parade. It is all about Bobby, not about Louisiana.

If you're watching a parade, don't follow it. It never changes. If the parade is boring, run in the opposite direction. You will fast-forward the parade.
