The year of 2007 and Louisiana was like vintage wine.  No hurricane, new politicians, football fever, great culture and more.  Governor blanco decided not to run for governor and Bobby Jindal wins in a landslide.  No storm, and Louisiana rebuilds.  Politicians get caught and Louisiana gets a whopping budget.  Then, of course, there was Jena 6.
