The Boston Celtics went West by playing the New Orleans Hornets on Saturday, but, they were hit by David West who scored 37 points in a 113-106 victory over the high-flying Boston club.
The Hornets are now 47-21 and the win against the Celtics did nothing but prove they are a team with the ability to do well down the stretch and into the playoffs.
Chris Paul chipped in 19 points and seven assists.
The New Orleans Hornets have won three consecutive “big games” which has resulted in their capturing 8 out of the last ten games and a current second place berth in the Western Conference.
The Hornets were assisted with their bench as MVP candidate Paul ran into foul trouble.
Never much cared for watching basketball, until I attended a few Hornets games. The Hornets are a very exciting team to watch. Another "plus" for our city to counter the negatives. Written by kpf
