The residential market in downtown New Orleans is radically changing, and hopefully for the better.  In a video interview with DDD (Downtown Development District) President and CEO, Kurt Weigel, Bayoubuzz focused upon those projects that are already in existence and those that are more on the drawing board.  These projects include the Krauss building on Canal Street and the Trump Tower building.

Amid the growth of residential dwellings, Kurt Weigel, discussed the focus upon the “creative class “ to populate these buildings.  Weigel also mentioned the importance of the the nightlife and even street cafes which he called an indication of the viability of a city, particularly the “creative class” which is so desired in many of the communities focused upon technology and new creations.
