The Justice Department has filed legal documents today that is urging the Court to force former Congressman William “Bill” Jefferson to forfeit $478,153.The request has been filed despite a bankruptcy proceeding that was filed earlier this eyar.The prosecutor are alleging “ill-gotten gains” in connection with some of the illegal acts associated with his guilty verdict this summer
