Surprise, Surprise!U.S. President-elect Barack Obama on Monday has chosen his national security team.The big names which are not unexpected are former rival Hillary Clinton as secretary of state.He is also asking Defense Secretary Robert Gates to stay on in that position.
Clinton and Obama clashed in one of the most fierce battles in Democratic Presidential primary history.Clinton has been First Lady and New YorkUS Senator.

Take the following for instance: Following the bailout money: Where $8.5 trillion is going - - - - - So Folks, now it is 8.5 trillion........ Sort of like everyone focusing on those bad - bad - bad CEO's instead of looking at what is really happening.... Right now we have the Ford CEO vowing to work for a buck.... Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!!!!!!!!! I am sure he can do it, and I am sure he means what he is saying, but is is salary really the reason for Fords woes or any other auto maker’s woes.... Speaking of woes..... We started off with a 750 million bailout? went to 850 million overnight, with a trillion on the table and 2 being murmured.... I knew when 750 billion was mentioned, it would end up as 2.5 trillion (Yeah, like I needed 'Buzz' to put that little bee in my ear, ha!) and I wouldn't have dreamed it would be more like 8.5 trillion..... We have lost our everlovin' collective minds folks...... And I ask again.... , “brick by brick, stone by stone, what would be the tool to reinstate a throne?????” Change? Change indeed….. I am hoping that Barak Obama marches to his own drum and will not simply be a rubber stamp for the failed policies of the Democratic Party's past (such as the Great Society which created more people living in poverty rather than "eliminate poverty"; the Community Reinvestment Act; etc.). I am uncertain about his picking Hillary as Sec of State. My gut reaction is "not another Clinton" - but perhaps it will not really matter. However as the Secretary of State is fourth in line to succeed the Presidency, Obama would be wise to not be in the same place as Biden and Pelosi at the same time. Written by kpf

I'm just at a loss to understand why Obama wants so badly to have "The Clintons" around him. He is going to have to keep looking over his shoulder. I guess he needed them to keep all of the other Clinton retreads that he's appointed in line.
