Lafayette – In a statement by former Louisiana Governor Kathleen Blanco, President-elect, Barack Obama is already on the right course.
Blanco issued the following statement today after hearing that Obama has chosen Rahm Emanuel to be his White House Chief of Staff:
"President-elect Obama has chosen a real champion for Louisiana in his selection of Rahm Emanuel as White House Chief of Staff.
Congressman Rahm Emanuel reached out to help Louisiana at a time when our requests for Congressional assistance were falling on deaf ears.
The Republican dominated Congress went to great lengths to find reasons why Louisiana should not get assistance proportionate to the level of destruction we had experienced after Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. Rahm Emanuel was a key player in changing the dynamics in Congress.
Congressman Emanuel is a no-nonsense individual who took a personal interest in Louisiana's problems. He was an important player who helped Louisiana’s citizens and communities secure a wide range of assistance. I appreciate his kindness to me personally, but more so his action on behalf of our people."
Kathleen Blanco? Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!!!! Just the fact that she gets a little byline on the buzzy boreds sort of indicates to me that the realities of things are zooming into focus….. Uhhh, Piyush, you may want to improve on your soft shoe tap dance act some there guy…. Things are even grimmer than they seem… And Mary Landrieu? Well, she is at the wheel of a racecar that has a broken steering box…. But I am not a spiteful type of person, hell, a little change may be good after all… I used to wonder how T-duhb was going to explain where Spunkie was going to get his money from, now the question all of a sudden is; “And Now, where is EVERYONE else going to get THEIR money from?” Ha-ha-jha-jha-jha-ha-ha-ha!!!! Get ready to bend over and grab your ankles T-dub.. Written by

Actually Rahm Emanuel was significant in ramming through NAFTA - with a majority of Democrats in both houses and a Democratic President at the time. He is not beloved of leftists for this. I saw an interview of him on C-Span last night, as far as "Corporate Welfare" goes I like what he says. However, whether he and Barak Obama are anything but front men for the Wall Street banking interest is yet to be determined. Written by kpf

Hmmmmmm,,,, Seems like I smell fear from some parts of the audiance that is posting on this Buzzy Bored, I wonder whut in the sam hill the bottom two posts mean???? Oh, I know, it is a fear of Change...... Could there be some crazy chance that the winds of fate are indeed shifting at this very moment in time? Oh well, it that what it takes, then who am I to argue with it? I cast my vote, so all I can do now is support the upcomming Commander in Chief if what is proposed is sound and practical... At least where I can effect positive things here on the home front where my understanding of the subjects seem to be a cut above the rest.... I like practicality.... Written by

More undeniable evidence that Obama is the right choice. If the grinnin' grandma, Kathleen Blanco likes him, he has to be good. And 99.9% of the the thoughtful, selfless, discerning black voters and one nuclear armed Iranian terrorist, I mean president, can be wrong. Written by
