The now-disgraced but former Republican member of the District 81 House of Representatives in Louisiana, is slamming the national Republican Party for choosing Michael Steele, a black person to be the Republican Chairman of the head of the Republican Party.
Duke, who spent time in prison for tax-related issues is calling Steele a “radical Black racist” a “servile dog of Israel” and says “As a former Republican official, I can tell you that millions of rank-and-file Republicans are mad as hell and aren’t going to take it anymore! We will either take the Republican Party back over the next four years or we will say, “To Hell With the Republican Party!” And we will take 90 percent of Republicans with us into a New Party that will take its current place!”
Also, previously, Duke denied he was anti-Semite but a review of his web site casts Jewish people in caricatures and appears focus almost exclusively upon the Jewish people.Duke previously had been photographed in a Nazi uniform and after winning his legislative election attended an event where he was seen communicating with a person considered to be a modern-day Nazi.
Duke won the District 81 election but then lost numerous election afterwards, spent time in jail, Russia and was a speaker in Iran denying the existence of the Holocaust.
After years of pandering to the left and to the so called moderates, Mr. Steele is going to get the party back on track. Written by Sid

Michael Steele, the new chairman of the Republican National Committee, has asked the entire staff to resign. The RNC has about 100 staff members and most of them will be gone by Feb.15."It's time for something completely different, and we're gonna bring it to them," he said in his acceptance speech. "Get ready, baby. It's time to turn it on." Steel is changing the party for the good of the nation. Thank you Fox News for carrying this story. Written by Please re-elect Vitter.

Yeah, we need a party that has these three beliefs: 1) not wasting taxpayer's money; 2) tolerant of differences of gender, race, and sexual orientation; 3)accepts proven science over myths (no creationism OR global warming baloney thankyouverymuch). I wonder why it is that David Duke gets all this mention or article space? How is he relevant to anything? Anymore anyways, if he ever really was? Written by Just a guy that had some relevant solutions......

What you need is a party for RINO's and conservative democrats, call it "Demrino's." The democratic party has been overtaken by socialists and the republican party has been under attack from the moderate RINO's. Steele is a conservative christian who believes in bringing together a coalition but not watering down the platform. Written by Sid

Well, "Mr. elect vitter", if the GOP will change it's social positions while retaining the fiscal responsibility and belief in free markets (actually, they need to work on those a bit) and represent those of us who are not anti-gay, racist, believe in women's rights but who - unlike socialists - believe that free markets - despite their faults (basically "winners and losers") - provide the economic basis that provides the highest standard of living (and the highest tax base for social programs), then I welcome that change. There simply is no reason for there to be a link between a belief in free markets, and say ... what takes place in bedrooms (or any other antiquated, narrow-minded belief). Michael Steele has an opportunity to change the GOP, change that would benefit all Americans, whether they realize it or not. Written by kpf

Well Dean Shapiro on 2/3/2009.............. The reason why that is would be because people like you enjoy the subject....... You crave confusion, you crave strife, you crave dissent, you crave watching someone doing without so that it gives you something to talk about, to feel important, to say something without saying anything at all, to suggest improvement or betterment in lieu of actually having an actual plan or intent to do so...... In other words, people like to watch misery and desolution, especially when it is not their own....... Tonight, while you watch the boob tube, in the middle of the show you are watching simply ask yourself; "What am I watching, why am I watching it, and what is its real appeal to my imagination?" If you can get beyond the fluff and hype you may be startled by what you discover... Especially when you ask yourself; "What did I do today to make something good happen that can or will help my fellow man?"

Some people just don't know when their time is up. They have a tough time letting go of their 15 minutes of fame -- or "infamy" as the case would be here. They refuse to go quietly into the night, so they stir up waves every now and then just to let the rest of the world know they're still breathing (fire). And, unfortunately, we as a society, continue to extend their 15 minutes by giving them the soapbox they so desperately crave and which keeps their name out there. That is exactly what they want us to do. So, without mentioning this particular individual by name and giving him yet another Google hit among the millions already out there, I will simply say thank God our laws forbid convicted felons from running for office. Otherwise we'd NEVER hear or see the last of this creepy character. Even when he loses -- which was all but one time -- he still gets more ink and air time than those who beat him. Something is definitely wrong with this picture. Written by Dean Shapiro

This is David Dukes way of announcing that his membership and voting list is for sale. Let's hope the Republicans can do a better job of hiding the purchase next time. After all, even a good for nothing piece of racist crap like David Duke has to make a living some how. He just needs the Republicans to step up to the plate as usual. Don't forget in his most famous statewide run here in Louisiana, 50% of all white voters who cast a vote, voted for David Duke. Written by Al

I do see where the republican party is evolving to the democratic party. The only difference is, the republican party still says one thing while they do exactly the opposite. I am also glad that the republican party is evolving to treat everyone as equals and that includes Blacks and Gays. I do wonder how Vitter can be effective as a old has been of hate the gays and no to abortion movement, when the Republican Party leader now represents a pro gay movement and a woman's right to choose. If one believes that the two parties are never changing and one party will triumph over the other by achieving lasting dominance, you are blind to the changing political landscape. Many are as guilty of stereotyping members of the GOP as white racists are of blacks (i.e. you see/hear something from some members of a “group” and ascribe these attributes to all within that group - classic "group & judge" prejudicial thought processes; exactly the thinking which led to the Nazi concentration camps in fact). The parties do evolve: case in point, the Democratic Party is nothing like it was during the early to mid 1960s (dominated by white males racists, in fact). So over time, the GOP will become less religiously oriented, less white male dominated - they have to in order to survive because that's the way humanity's beliefs/demographics are going (and so they will change). Also, eventually the Democratic Party will not get 90 plus percent of the African-American vote. That will - long term - be good for both parties and people of all colors. Change happens slowly, but it is happening, whether one is aware of it or not. Written by kpf

Michael Steele the Black man Republicans elected to lead their party is also one of the co-founders of something called the Republican Leadership Council which supports candidates who favor abortion and gay rights. Gay marriage and abortion should be passing soon. I am very proud of the republican party for electing such a great man to lead their party. I do find this to be a very hypocritical view of the republican Party. Seems like Duke at least stands by what he says and the rest of the republican leaders views change with the wind. Thank goodness we can trust Vitter to practice what he preaches. Written by Please re-elect Vitter.

Duke and Steele represent the dilemma facing the GOP today. The Southern Strategy of playing up to white racists has run its course in most of the country (Louisiana being an exception thanks to Katrina). The faction of the GOP backing Steele realizes this fact and is trying to soften the GOP's image. Another group of hard-core racists simply will not tolerate any nudge to the left no matter how small in order to appeal to African-American voters. Written by David Quidd

Duke has only said what the southern republican believed in. Notice the racial hate that was spread during the Obama campaign. But even if you choose to pretend God fearing republicans have no racial hate, you have to accept the false religion of the republican party. Now this from feb. 2 2009, The Rev. Robert Yurgel, the Catholic priest accused of molesting a 14,year old boy in Charlotte a decade ago, is expected to plead guilty today in a deal with prosecutors
that will send him to prison for more than seven years. From Jan 29 2009,Los Angeles Times, CA Jan 31, 2009, The former Catholic priest pleaded guilty to molesting one boy in the 1980s and admitted to abusing three others. From Jan. 29 2009, LOS ANGELES, California (CNN) -- Federal prosecutors have launched an investigation into whether leaders of the Los Angeles archdiocese committed fraud by failing to properly deal with charges of priests molesting children. Please
re-elect Vitter and keep the false devoted catholics like Vitter in power. Do not let it bother you that the christian right says others will go to hades, while they prey on the weak. Evil does not have to do anything because the false religious right does all the work themselves. Written by Please re-elect Vitter

I guess you could say the Obama factor continues to motivate Republicans. Somebody in the party obviously said "let's get us one like That One". This comes after being motivated to bring in that lackluster excuse of a female candidate for VP. (I can see Russia). Now they have to go out and find some Latinos, Hispanics and Asians. Boy that Republican Party has become diverse so quickly. What a bunch!!! Calm down David Duke , didn't you see Sarah Palin winking. Written by Al
