The D.C. Madam is been reportedly a victim of suicide according to news reports and Florida police.
Earlier this month, Deborah Jeane Palfrey was convicted in a criminal trial that Louisiana US Senator became a role when his name appeared on the witness list and he declared through his attorney that he would be taking the Fifth Amendment against self-incrimination.
Palfrey’s body is said to be found in a shed at her mother’s house and police believe she committed suicide.
Palfrey claimed that she ran a high-class escort service and not a prostitution ring.

So what are you prepared to do based on your cynicisms Bobby O'Sullivan me lad? Sit around and blah-blah-blah as you pound away on the keyboards, or actually get out there and get first hand knowledge on the subject and tell what you know???? I thought so, and much like the dead language of Latin, and the dead 1700's abstract of french you like to piss and moan so much about, you are soon going to come to the stark realization that just sitting around and talking about something instead of putting forth 110% effort and action to make things right is about as useful as teats on a boar hog, and that is a subject that is dead before it even gets out of the box. So why don't you show a little respect, and send a prayer for her immediate family, and friends whom I am sure will miss her tremendously....... I would wonder, does she have brothers? sisters? children? cousins, nephews, nieces? Yes, offer a prayer for them as well, I am sure you may be capabable of doing at least that much, and if not, slink back into the basement you hide in...................... I find it highly disturbing that people believe Palfrey committed suicide without even knowing some of the basic facts of the case-accepting the mainstream media's conclusion as if it were proof. The authorities say it's a suicide so it must be true! She stated that she was fighting those charges and that there were a lot of powerful people that didn't want their names exposed (she actually had phone numbers which is a lot harder for these people to explain that away). She also stated on several occassions that if she was found dead of a suicide not to believe it-that she wasn't planning on killing herself. Palfrey repeated this again on the Alex Jones show back in March. She was worried that somebody might kill her and make it look like a suicide and it looks like that's what happened. Am I the only cynic who suspects she may have been murdered by powerful people fearful of exposure? Written by Robert Desmarais Sullivan

All things aside, no wonderments, no ponderings, only sadness. I would rather pray that she may now rest in peace.... It is a shame she chose to opt out in this fashion, and I am sure that many of her friends will miss her deeply...... and sadly, the world will become that much less of an interesting place for some as a result of her passing. Suicide by anyone is tragic and in our opinion the result of an unstable mind. No one in their right frame of mind really wants to die. The overwhelming tragedy in this situation is not only the death of this woman but the failure of the federal government to expose those who took advantage of this woman's services. It takes two to tango and how many tangoed in this siutation. Immediately the press pounces on Vitter and Livingston but not the other men who were involved in this criminal activity. The same goes for the situation here in New Orleans and the Canal Street Brothel and the women who were charged and faced criminal penalties. It is time for the press to go full court and let the public know both sides of this tragedy and also of the local situation. We can no longer stand by and see the johns run free on our streets, with their identity hidden, and their jobs and social status protected by legal means. It is time for justice to reign for one and all. Now let's go for JUSTICE in the name of the woman who allegedly got justice while others escaped it. Written by RhettsWife

Very sad to read about the D.C. Madam's apparent suicide. I suppose that facing a 55 year sentence, at age 52, is pretty much a life sentence, without a possibility of parole until she had finished part of her sentence. (I'm not a lawyer, so I don't know how much of this sentence Ms.Palfrey would have served, before being eligible for parole.). I can see that she may have decided to take her own life, rather than face such a long sentence behind bars. It will be interesting to learn, if we ever do, what she said in the suicide note, about why she decided to take this very final step on her way to prison. Wonder if Sen. Vitter will attend her funeral and/or memorial service. Will he be asked to speak at that time? Written by Wendy King
