Storm Fay Could Hit Eastern Louisiana

According to the National Hurricane Center, Tropical Storm Fay as of 7 CST, could potentially hit 
Southeast Louisiana with rainfall accumulations between 6-12 inches of rain and possibly up to 20 inches of rain. 
 
Here is the pertinent information from the National Hurricane Center “FAY IS EXPECTED TO PRODUCE 
TOTAL RAINFALL ACCUMULATIONS OF 6 TO 12
INCHES OVER THE NEXT TWO DAYS ACROSS THE WESTERN PORTIONS OF THE
NORTHERN FLORIDA PENINSULA...THE FLORIDA PANHANDLE...SOUTHWESTERN
GEORGIA...THE SOUTHERN AND CENTRAL PORTIONS OF BOTH MISSISSIPPI
AND ALABAMA...AND EASTERN LOUISIANA...WITH ISOLATED MAXIMUM AMOUNTS
OF 20 INCHES POSSIBLE.  ADDITIONAL RAINFALL ACCUMULATIONS OF 1 TO
3 INCHES ARE POSSIBLE OVER THE REMAINDER OF THE FLORIDA PENINSULA

On August 25th, 1915 a Hurricane kills 275 people in Galveston, Texas maiming numerous chickens, pigs, cows, and goats as well…….. There was approximately $50 million dollars in damages…….. FEMA never did show up for this, how irresponsible of that Government agency…..
