trump fingerThe era of President Trump, Week Three.

Nobody thought it wouldn’t be interesting.  Or, better put, did anybody possibly believe it wouldn’t be “wild”? I doubt it.

So far, Donald Trump has managed to get all of his cabinet picks through far, without falling prey to Democrat Senator’s stall tactics.  However, many of the nominees are still awaiting confirmation.  His pick for Supreme Court vacancy is on course to become the replacement for Justice Anthonio Scalia.

Then, there’s those daily tweets.  Just in the past day or so, Trump has blasted Senators John McCain and Richard Blumenthal.  He’s cried foul against Nordstrom, the 9th Circuit Appeals Court and of course, the media.

Up to this point, school is still out as to whether the controversial 9th circuit will lift the stay on his immigration/travel ban or restrictions.

So, the ultimate question—can you possibly miss the weekly fireworks that are launched every Thursday night during the Bayoubuzz Facebook Live, Twitter Live “hot” discussion with Jeff Crouere of WGSO Radio 990 and yours truly?

I doubt it.  You won’t want to miss tonight’s live event, starting at roughly 8 PM?

Everything is fair game with lively debate as we talk Trump. So, join Jeff Crouere and me tonight at 8PM, CST.

You can ask questions and comment by calling the telephone number that will appear on the screen live via Facebook or Twitter.  Or, you can simply chat away.

Here are the locations to view the weekly “Trump Talk”.

catRarely, have I seen few issues that have generated as much raw heat, tension, and passion than the Confederate monuments controversy.

Just as existed during the real civil war, where brothers battled brothers, social media is the battleground, particularly Facebook, pitting friend against friend.

On one side of the tense divide, there are those who are protecting the New Orleans civil war era monuments.  Burnt in effigy, forever, is the symbol of Mayor Mitch Landrieu for up-ending what the monument protectors consider to be the loving civil society of New Orleans.

Lately, events have turned somewhat militaristic.

Some protectors of the Confederate monuments have been staying vigilant, in person and online, even surveilling during the wee hours of the morning, waiting for the next Mayor Landrieu attack. On Sunday morning, with protections of snipers, masked workers and a dumbstruck audience, the worst of all of the monuments was cut and carried., the Liberty Monument.
