Vitt, Manning and Brees on New Orleans Saints-Broncos Sunday Night Football

spag-vitt2-newIt is now the season of the Vitt and the showdown of the two of the top quarterbacks who ever played an NFL game, Drew Brees and Payton Manning all on Sunday Night Football.

Interim head coach Joe Vitt has his hands full today as he replaces Aaron Kromer who managed to win the last two games after losing four at the helm.

Not only must he keep the winning momentum as the New Orleans Saints and Brees take on the Denver Broncos, but he must do so at Denver and with Peyton Manning at the throttle.

The Broncos are 3-3.

New Orleans Saints is led by quarterback Drew Brees, has the No. 1 passing offense in the NFL but their rushing game is on halt.  Manning is 4th in passing which is quite a feat considering a new team and a neck that kept him from playing the entirety of last year.

Brees needs a touchdown pass today not only to continue his record streak for consecutive games with a touchdown, but also to reach 300 in his career.
