Louisiana Congress Poll: Boustany vs. Landry, your choice?
Written by

voteThe 2012 Louisiana election season for the most part is a ho-hum, but, there is one election that is humming.

Republican Congressman Jeff Landry versus Republican Congressman Charles Boustany is the only contest making any noise in the state and the only race that is being viewed nationally with interest.

Boustany and Landry are competing against one another as a result of redistricting with the state losing a Congressional seat. With the loss of the seat, District 3 in South Louisiana has become a hot-bed of politics with two GOP leaders slugging it out.

Boustany, a medical doctor has been in Congress longer than his opponent. Landry, who surprised many political observers with an upset over Republican Hunt Downer is a Tea Party favorite and has been a thorn in the side of President Obama.
