Louisiana Elections: Dardenne, Schedler, Strain, Hodge Get Alliance Endorsements

AllianceThe Alliance for Good Government, one of New Orleans metropolitan area's most powerful political organizations, endorsed the following candidates for state elective office:

 Incumbent Jay Dardenne for Lt. Governor, 

Incumbent Tom Schedler for Secretary of State
Incumbent Mike Strain for Agriculture Commissioner 
Challenger Donald Hodge for Insurance Commissioner 

The endorsements occured after  forum debates by the candidates or by their surrogates.

The Dardenne-Billy Nungesser race was the only slot in which both candidates showed up in person to debate the issues.

The forum took place in Covington Louisiana.
