Video: Louisiana SPCA Gala Another Howling Success
Written by

Howling SuccessIf dogs and cats could talk, they would proclaim the recent LASPCA fundraiser to be a “Howling Success”.

In virtually all probabilities, those attending and those involved with the event, would agree.

After all, Louisiana Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (LSPCA) annual gala entitled “Howling Success” was packed with New Orleans delicacies from many of the city’s most-recognized eating establishments.

Many of those attending this fundraiser watched LSU edge Alabama and ate drank, danced, schmoozed and ate some more all within the confines of the Empire Room of the magnificently renovated Hyatt Regency Hotel.

They listened to the popular Motown songs performed by Wanda Rouzan and the Big Easy Groovers and some even talked with John Besh who was in attendance signing his new book.

But most of all, the LASPCA raised over $220,000 to help provide the needed services for the helpless animals.

Now, that is the type of success about which is worth howling.
