Jindal: Louisiana Sends State Police To New Orleans Post Parade Shooting

One day after a Thursday night brutal Mardi Gras parade shooting on St. Charles Avenue, Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal told the media that the  State of Louisiana State Police is sending an additional one-hundred-and-fifty state troopers to New Orleans.  He said many of them would be plain clothes and undercover.  

 A 16-year-old shot two teens in the leg. Jindal said the state was working with the mayor and that New Orleans Mayor Mitch Landrieu made the request for the additional police.
