Melancon Will Attend Louisiana US Senate Debate, Will Vitter?

Baton Rouge, LA --According to the Charlie Melancon campaign, the Democrat US Senate candidate will participate in a live televised Senate debate Tuesday evening in Houma.  The station is KFOL/KJUN, HTV 10, serving the Houma, Morgan City areas.  Sen. David Vitter has been invited to attend but has not yet accepted the challenge. The station serves the Houma and Morgan City areas.

Bayoubuzz has contacted the television and has been told that Sen. David Vitter has not confirmed his presence.

Melancon has attempted to debate Vitter on television but so far, the Senator has agreed to debate on one occassion.

According to various polls, Vitter has a comfortable lead in the race for US Senate.
