Poll: Affordable Care Act, Healthcare law, the more I know
Written by

HealthCareDebatePerhaps nothing has been as politically controversial and divisive during the Obama administration than his signature legislation and law, the Affordable Care Act.

Proponents of the healthcare law believe rates will come down, more Americans will be insured, consumers will have more choices, young adults have extended coverage on their parents insurance policy and pre-existing conditions will no longer destroy lives and families.

Opponents of the law feel the opposite regarding rates and overall medical costs.  They also do not like the federal government having any access to privacy information, believe the government should not control such a large portion of the economy.  They also feel the law is too confusing, too demanding and unworkable.

Of course, there are a variety of reasons including those cited above on both sides of the healthcare debate equation.

However, now that October 1 is fast approaching, the healthcare law is about to unveil its insurance exchanges,  Americans will soon be able to review and obtain coverage online and the major parts of the law begin to kick in January 1, 2014, there is still plenty of debate over this political, business and economic question.

So, how do you feel about the law now, a couple of years since it became the political rage?  Take the Bayoubuzz poll and share with others.
