Louisiana Gov. Jindal On Iowa Stump For Rick Perry, Again
Written by

Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal will be starting 2012 by traveling to Iowa on behalf of Texas Governor Rick Perry's Republican Presidential candidacy bid.

An email sent by his press secretary Frank Collins said, "Today, Governor Bobby Jindal will travel to Iowa to support Governor Rick Perry's campaign for President. On Monday (1/2) and Tuesday (1/3), Governor Jindal will join Governor Perry for multiple campaign stops across the state. Governor Jindal will return to Baton Rouge on Tuesday."

Perry has been trying to differentiate himself from other conservatives  such as Michelle Bachmann and Rick Santorum for the evangelical vote claiming neither candidate has the ability to go forward past Iowa stating they do not have the organization or financing to be competitive.

Perry said during an interview on Fox News today, also noting that regardless of the outcome in Tuesday’s caucuses, he’ll “be going across the country, South Carolina, into Florida, into Nevada, with a national campaign.”

Jindal has been supporting Perry since the early days of the Texas Governor's campaign backing his neighboring Governor when the Texan was soaring in the polls.
