Louisiana Demos: Let the People Decide Medicaid Expansion

Health reformSince the introduction of the Affordable Care Act, more than 8 million Americans have enrolled.


According to a press release from Louisiana Democrats, President Obama yesterday called out obstructionist Republican governors - like Bobby Jindal - who, who "continue to stand in their constituents' way and deny millions of people access to affordable health care through Medicaid expansion." Governor Jindal has rejected to accept federal funding for Medicaid expansion, but local leaders are now supporting two constitutional amendments that would give the people the power to choose whether ornot to accept the proposition from the federal government.
