Republican Louisianna Lt. Governor Scott Angelle?.

Yes, and here is the press release from the Louisiana Republican Party.

Baton Rouge - Today, Republican Party of Louisiana Chairman Roger Villere welcomed Lt. Governor Scott Angelle as the newest member of the Republican Party.

At the Republican Leadership Summit in Baton Rouge, Lt. Governor Scott Angelle announced his deep dissatisfaction with national Democrats’ energy policies and his decision to switch his party affiliation from Democrat to Republican.

“As Chairman of the Republican Party it is an especially great honor to welcome Scott Angelle to our movement,” said Republican Party Chairman Roger Villere.  “As the Obama Administration’s policies continue to devastate Louisiana, I hope it will become more apparent to our elected officials and voters throughout the state that the Democrats’ Big-Government agenda is not the Louisiana Way.”
