New Orleans Saints Ranked No. 1 In NFL Against Pass

The Saints defense is No. 1 in the NFL against the pass.




Defensive coordinator Gregg Williams' group, which allowed 217.3 yards passing a game in the first three weeks, has given up only 140.8 yards a game since then--dropping their season average to 166.3.

The Saints have 19 sacks this  season, including 16 in the past six games.

Offensively, the Saints are up two spots to seventh in total yards (369,9) after racking up 408 yards against Carolina.

They also rank fifth in passing (276,2), 24th in rushing (93.7) and 14th in scoring (22.3).  The Saints practiced for  a half day onTuesday before getting a five-day break for their bye.
