According to recent poll results provided by Ron Faucheux of Clarus Inc., it appears that President Barack Obama and Democrats are in a good position with the American voters as the country faces major issues such as the fiscal cliff, social security, taxes and maintaining tax deductions.

With the Middle East on high-alert as Israel and the Hamas exchange rockets, who is the Americans supporting--the Jewish state or the Palestinians?  Also, how does the nation feel about the relationship between climate change and storms such as Sandy which has damaged major parts of the NorthEast Coast of the United States?

In today’s “Your Daily Polling Update” offered by Ron Faucheux of Clarus, President Barack Obama is leading GOP challenger Mitt Romney in the swing states and the Democratic U.S. Senate candidates top their GOP contenders in the battle ground count.   However, in the popular vote, Romney is tied with the President.

Based upon the averages of the Presidential polls today, Romney is ahead by one in the popular vote according to Ron Faucheux, President of Clarus.
