After resting for a few days from all the activities and celebrations associated with the Super Bowl and Mardi Gras, I was ready to resume my cultural life. And what a better way than to attend the annual Pan-American Life Fiesta Sinfonia at the Mahalia Jackson Theater.

This was one week to toast and celebrate and I did plenty of both. I have been waiting for weeks to say that New Orlenians were elated about a Saints victory and it finally happened. Congratulations to our boys and to Drew Brees for breaking the record for consecutive games with a passing touchdown. Let's keep it going!
