Once again, the City of New Orleans did an outstanding job of hosting the world’s biggest sporting event, the Super Bowl. For the tenth time, New Orleans welcomed the NFL’s signature event to the city. The response from the media, fans, and NFL officials has been fantastic with some even saying that the city should host the game every year.
Treasurer John Kennedy’s assumed gubernatorial candidacy took a hit last week with an incident that goes against the narrative he has tried painstakingly to create and, worse, feeds the one that has kept him from advancing beyond this one and only elective office he ever has held.
