NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - St. Tammany parish wants money from former coroner Peter Galvan.

The parish has requested that he repay more than $200,000 his office paid two law firms to defend him in his corruption case.

"The memorandum that was filed with U.S. District Court speaks for itself," said Pat Brister, St. Tammany Parish president. "We firmly believe that over $200,000 charged to the Coroner's Office was to defend an individual in the Grand Jury indictment.
