A woman is expected to plead guilty in a fraud case related to claims submitted for assistance from the 2011 oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.
Filings in U.S. District Court in Gulfport say Kimberly Marie Isabell is scheduled to plead guilty Tuesday.
Isabell is charged with one count each of wire fraud and false statements.
Prosecutors say she filed a claim for losses from her job at Isabell Janitorial Services and received a total of $17,000.
A check for $12,000 was mailed to her in October 2010 and $5,000 was transferred to her bank account in Gulfport in January 2011.
