BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -
Former LSU quarterback Ryan Perrilloux is regarded as one of the biggest disappointments in LSU and perhaps Louisiana sports history.
He was the #1 recruit in the country during his senior year at East St John High School in 2004, yet was eventually thrown off the Tigers squad by head coach Les Miles.
Many LSU fans have harbored negative feelings against Perrilloux for years, as his dismissal was extremely damaging to the Tigers' program.
The young talent became the epitome of "what could've been", as his transgressions cost him a shot at being a true LSU star and earning millions of dollars in the NFL.
In this candid, one-on-one interview with WAFB-TV sports veteran Jacques Doucet, the quarterback takes us down an emotional road, recapping the highs and unfortunate lows of his football career.
Now a member of the New Orleans Voodoo, Ryan Perrilloux pledges that his demons are now behind him, and that he truly is a changed man.
