Advocate staff report

East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s deputies say they arrested the last assailant in an alleged robbery set-up of a man who the accused mastermind claimed was known for luring women to his house by promising them money.

On April 14, Kyaisha Gross, 19, let the victim pick her up from her Ritterman Avenue home, and went to the man’s home with him.

The two drank, smoked marijuana and prepared to fall asleep at around 1 a.m., according to the arrest warrant.

But the man did not realize Gross had gone downstairs and let two assailants into the house. Two armed men then attacked the man while he was in his bed. But he was able to fight them off and call for help before they fled in a Chevy Tahoe without any money, the warrant says.
